Hi, we’re Jeff and Rebecca Stakes, the husband-and-wife team behind ATS Exteriors.
We started this company because we wanted to make a difference in our community and give homeowners a better experience than what we were seeing across the industry.
Both of us spent years working side by side at another company, seeing firsthand how homeowners were often treated throughout the process. Too often, customers were told whatever they needed to hear to win the job, only to be passed from salesperson to project manager to production team with little communication along the way. Homeowners were left wondering who to call, what was happening with their project, and whether anyone was truly looking out for their best interests.
That never sat right with us.
We knew there was a better way, so we started ATS Exteriors.
Our mission has been simple from day one: help people, do the job right, and treat every home like it’s our own. That philosophy guides everything we do. We use quality products, communicate honestly, and always recommend what’s best for the homeowner—even when that means a smaller project.
One of the biggest differences between ATS Exteriors and many other roofing companies is that we don’t have salespeople. When you contact us, you’re working directly with the owners. We perform the inspections, prepare the estimates, and stay personally involved throughout every project from start to finish.
We intentionally chose to stay a family-owned company because we believe quality service starts with relationships, not sales quotas. By keeping our company personal and hands-on, we’re able to focus on what matters most: doing right by our customers and delivering work we’re proud to stand behind.

The Owens Corning Preferred designation requires us to meet ongoing installation standards and customer satisfaction benchmarks, and it’s what allows us to offer the enhanced manufacturer warranties that aren’t available through standard contractors. The James Hardie Elite Preferred status is even more selective and unlocks the 30-year non-prorated siding warranty that most contractors in the area can’t provide. The BBB rating reflects how we treat customers when something goes sideways, which inevitably happens at some point on long projects.
